Our Mission

Covid hit our family hard, much like it did millions of others in the world. During the crisis we decided to leave California and travel around the country. In our travels we drove through several neighborhoods that were boarded up and in major distress. We also met some of the nicest people in these neighborhoods. That got us thinking!

We noticed most of these areas typically had higher crime rates and most of the residents were renters. That lead us to answer two questions:
– How can we help revitalized these neighborhoods into their former glory?
– How can we help the residents of these neighborhoods find a path to ownerships?

Our Plan

Phase 1 – Identify neighborhoods with distressed properties that need help. Work with local contractors to rehabilitate the properties. The ultimate goal would be to rehab ALL the properties in the neighborhood. This should attract residence back to the neighborhood.

Phase 2 – Once we have rehabilitated the properties work with residents to a path to ownership. This could include residents of the properties we have rehabilitated or other residents in the neighborhood. The hope is that with ownership of property comes ownership of the neighborhood. The goal being to let people know this is not an area that crime is tolerated.

The hope is we can rebuild a community, lift up the residents and show them there is a place in the world where they can own a home. Together we can rebuild our communities and make the a safe place to raise children!
